Does Ben die in Manifest season 4 part 1? (spoilers)

If there’s one thing our guy Ben Stone loves to do, it’s put himself directly in the line of fire for the people he loves. He will always stick his neck out to save his children, his family, and the Flight 828 Lifeboat. But does his fearlessness cost him his life in Manifest season 4 part 1?

Two years after Grace’s death and Eden’s kidnapping, Ben has completely shut himself off from the world, allowing his grief and persistence to find Eden overtake him. Even though few people still agree, Ben believes his youngest daughter is alive and out there… somewhere.

In order to find Eden and protect the Lifeboat, Ben once again dives headfirst into all kinds of dangerous situations. Does he make it through the first half of the final season?

Does Ben die in Manifest season 4 part 1?

Thankfully, Ben doesn’t bite the dust in Manifest season 4 part 1. However, he does get the closest he ever has to being killed. In episode 4, when he finally receives confirmation that Eden is alive and finds her location, he’s knocked unconscious outside Adrian’s boarding house.

He’s tied up and gagged in the basement of the boarding house for wayward 828ers, and for all intents and purposes, he’s left for dead. Luckily, Michaela saves him and diffuses the situation when it gets even rockier. But that’s not Ben’s only near-death experience in season 4 part 1.

In episode 10, Ben stands at the wrong end of Angelina’s gun, but she doesn’t land a shot. Later in the episode, he and Michaela track Angelina to the church in her old school, where she abuses the power of the Omega Sapphire and opens volcanic fissures. While battling Angelina and helping her hostages, there are various times when either Ben or Michaela could have been killed.

But Ben will continue to fight on to save the Lifeboat and all of humanity in the final 10 episodes of the series. Although there were a handful of deaths in part 1 (some that hurt more than others…), our fearless leader was not one of them.
