6 best Netflix shows to watch (and 3 to skip) in November 2022

As the year winds down to its final months, more and more high-profile Netflix shows are premiering and releasing new seasons. That’s something to be thankful for this November!

Among the biggest releases coming in November 2022 are the eagerly awaited new seasons of Manifest, Dead to Me, and The Crown, while premieres like Blockbuster and Wednesday are the kinds of titles heading straight for the higher rungs of the top 10 ladder.

But are all of those coming to Netflix in November worth immediately adding to your watch list? Some will be binge-watched in their first weekend, but others could be better options for a different binge-watcher. Ultimately, it’s all up to preference.

After making quite the landing on Netflix in summer 2021 with its first three seasons then getting saved by the streamer for a fourth and final season, Manifest returns with the first half of its swan song on Nov. 4. Dead to Me season 3

Watch! Due to various setbacks and postponements, fans have been waiting over two years to watch Dead to Me season 3. In the final season, Jen (Christina Applegate) and Judy (Linda Cardellini) grapple with the aftermath of the hit-and-run accident that landed them in the hospital. Watch! As much as some fans would have loved Tim Burton’s Wednesday to hit Netflix around Halloween, the reimagining of The Addams Family arrives on Nov. 23, the Wednesday before the Thanksgiving holiday. Jenna Ortega stars as the titular Addams family member as she makes her way at Nevermore Academy and attempts to solve a 25-year-old mystery.

Blockbuster

Watch! If you have been missing some unadulterated comedy series on Netflix, the stream service is bring us Blockbuster, a new workplace comedy set at the last remaining Blockbuster video store in the United States. Randall Park and Melissa Fumero team-up for the sitcom that’s absolutely one of the month’s can’t-miss new titles, and it premieres on Nov. 3.

Elite season 6

Skip! After five whole seasons of sex, drugs, lies, and murder all at the same school, there might be some fans who are feeling a bit fatigued of the Spanish teen drama series Elite. The sixth season arrives to drum up even more drama on Nov. 18, and it’s another sordid school year of dirty little secrets for the students of Las Encinas.

Watch! Ahead of the release of The Crown season 5, much has been made about the series, with some calling it “crude sensationalism” and worrying about the latest episodes will handle Princess Diana’s death. But there’s little that could keep fans of The Crown from watching the fifth season when it and all its intrigue arrives on Netflix on Nov. 9.

Watch! The German period horror-mystery drama 1899 is one of the most highly anticipated new Netflix shows coming in November. When a migrant steamship happens upon another steamship, though what they experience on board the other ship with send their journey in a whole new direction. Watch the mystery unfold on Nov. 17.

Warrior Nun season 2

Skip! Since it’s been over two years since Warrior Nun’s first season premiered on Netflix, there will certainly be fans seated for the season 2 premiere on Nov. 10. Ava Silva is back with her Sister-Warriors to face off against Adriel. You’ll either be rewatching season 1 or watching it for the first time ahead of the release of season 2 or saving it for a holiday break binge.
