If you like fantasy, drama, and witchy business then you’ll be happy to know Netflix’s new original series The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself has all of those elements wrapped into one story. And the eight-episode season is coming our way Friday, Oct. 28!

The new series is an adaptation of the young adult novel Half Bad, which is written by author Sally Green. There are also two sequels to the book, Half Wild and Half Lost. That means if this first season is a success at Netflix, the streaming service has plenty of material to work with if the company chooses to renew the series.

So who rounds out the cast? Jay Lycurgo takes on the lead role of Nathan Byrn. Joining him on screen are Nadia Parkes as Annalise, Emilien Vekemans as Gabriel, Isobel Jesper Jones as Jessica, Karen Connell as Ceelia, Paul Ready as Soul, David Gyasi as Marcus, Kerry Fox as Esmie, Fehinti Balogun as Bjorn, Misia Butler as Niall, Liz White as Penelope, and Róisín Murphy as Mercury.
