It’s never great when a friend gets dumped. But it’s even worse when both friends get dumped at the same time. That is precisely the situation going down in Bromates. Sid and Jonesie get kicked to the curb by their girlfriends and decide to move in together and become the titular duo. But things don’t go as expected, resulting in all kinds of hilarity from start to finish.

The film stars Josh Brener, who fans will recognize from Silicon Valley and The Internship, and Jonesie is played by Lil Rel Howery, who fans know from the film Get Out and his own series Rel. Also in the cast is a talented bunch of individuals like Taryn Manning, Snoop Dogg, Flula Borg, Brendan Scannell, Rob Riggle, and Jamie Brewer.

The 98-minute laugh-out-loud feature is directed by Court Crandall, who wrote the screenplay with Chris Kemper. Whether it’s the exceptional people involved or the gut-busting storyline, there are plenty of reasons to check out Bromates.
