Ever since the premiere season of Shadow and Bone debuted on Netflix in April 2021, fans of Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse and new fans alike have been waiting on the edge of their seats for news about season 2. Fortunately, it didn’t take long for the Netflix Original to be renewed, with the announcement coming in June 2021. Now that we’re approaching the end of the year, it’s not surprising that people want to know when they can expect Shadow and Bone season 2.

Shadow and Bone follows a young woman named Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li) who discovers she has special powers. As an orphan and someone who has never experienced wealth, her life is completely changed when people find out she might be the one to save the world of Ravka.

Alina meets and gets close with General Kirigan (Ben Barnes), the Shadow Summoner, but soon realizes he’s not what he seems. Shadow and Bone season 2 is bound to be another eventful watch!

During TUDUM, Netflix’s annual fan event, stars Jessie Mei Li, Ben Barnes, Patrick Gibson, Jack Wolfe, Lewis Tan, and Anna Leong Brophy appeared to share something exciting with Shadow and Bone followers. We got to see the first sneak peek at season 2, which we’re happy to share with you below:

Also at TUDUM, we got the full-length trailer for Enola Holmes 2 starring Stranger Things‘ Millie Bobby Brown, with the sequel slated for a Nov. 4, 2022 release. The cast of Bridgerton and the upcoming Bridgerton spin-off, Queen Charlotte, also showed up for some special news.
