Sex/Life season 2 release: When could season 2 arrive on Netflix?

Have you wondered when Sex/Life season 2 would finally be released on Netflix? Us too! All eyes have been on the show after May 2022’s announcement which said season 2 of the drama created by Stacy Rukeyser was said to be “coming soon.” And with production reportedly having wrapped in April 2022, many believed that the series would indeed return soon.

However, now five months after the announcement, it’s unsurprising that fans of the show are wondering once more when exactly Sex/Life season 2 could find its way to our screens, and whether or not a 2022 release is still possible.

Well, we’ve done some digging, and we might have an answer for you as to why there has been a delay with its release.

We admit it’s been way too long since we got our last taste of the utterly addictive and enticing Netflix series Sex/Life, following a frustrated suburban wife taking a fantasy-charged trip down memory lane that sees her collide (and reunite?) with a former flame. Sex/Life season 2 release predictions

Let’s get the bad news out the way first. Sex/Life season 2 still does not have a release date, however, this could soon change. After Netflix announced that Sex/Life season 2 would be coming to the streamer “soon” in May, not much else regarding its release date was shared.

Now, we might know the reason why. The creator of the show, Stacy Rukeyser, took to her Twitter on Sept. 17 to reveal that Netflix has decided to dub her popular series in “18 languages, adding 4 from season 1,” which could be taking up plenty of time in post-production.

So what does this mean for its release? Could it still come out this year?

IMDb still has the second season of the series marked for a 2022 release, but we should take that with a grain of salt. That’s not confirmed by Netflix, and considering the streamer is gearing up to make announcements about all of its biggest shows and movies today at TUDUM, we wouldn’t hold our breath for a 2022 release date for Sex/Life season 2. The steamy drama has not been mentioned in the TUDUM lineup, so we don’t expect news from the show anytime soon.

At this time, we predict that Sex/Life season 2 might come out in the first quarter of 2023. Of course, this is just when we think it could release, and is not a confirmation.
