Fans have been waiting for Clerks III for some time, and Kevin Smith will no longer keep them waiting. The long-awaited third chapter is no doubt going to be a laugh-out-loud affair from start to finish but will Netflix subscribers be able to enjoy the hilarious motion picture?

The first Clerks film was an independent feature in black and white that is considered a cult classic and launched the career of one Kevin Smith. The sequel Clerks II was in color and had a bigger budget. The follow-up ended up being a commercial success making $27 million off of a $5 million budget.

The third chapter in the Clerks saga will follow Randal Graves’s efforts to make a film after he has a heart attack. The brush with death caused him to regret his life choices of doing nothing. So he embarks on an attempt to bring meaning to his existence and, of course, involves everyone from the Quick Stop, including Dante, Jay, Silent Bob, and Elliot from Mooby’s fast food restaurant.

The cast for Clerks III boasts quite the stellar lineup, with talented players such as Kevin Smith, Jeff Anderson, Brian O’Halloran, Rosario Dawson, Trevor Fehrman, Jennifer Schwalbach, and Jason Mewes.

Is Clerks III available on Netflix?

The Quick Stop will not be open for members of the streaming powerhouse. That’s right, Clerks III is not available on Netflix. As a Lionsgate movie, it will first go to STARZ, and will then head to The Roku Channel.

While not having the Kevin Smith feature on the streamer is definitely no laughing matter, Netflix does have other comical options available now. Some of the side-splitting examples ready to stream include The Man From Toronto, Me Time, and Space Sweepers, just to name a few.

Where you can watch Clerks III
