In 2022, there was one Netflix star who truly made it her year: Julia Garner. The Emmy-winning Ozark star completed a critically acclaimed run on the hit drama series and had quite the victory lap with the equally successful Netflix limited series Inventing Anna.

Since breaking out in Ozark, Garner has become one of the top young talents of her generation, and after her stellar work on both Netflix shows, she’s one of the most coveted working actresses out there. She’s even gotten Madonna’s attention for the pop titan’s biopic.

In short, there’s nowhere to go but up for Julia Garner, and the 2022 Emmy Awards could be another pivotal point for the actress as she continues to build an enviable career onscreen. The star’s up for two more Emmys this year. Will she take them both home?

We’re breaking down Julia Garner’s complete history at the Emmy Awards. How many trophies has she won over the years for Ozark, and how many does she have total? Here’s everything to know about the talented actress’s award wins!

How many Emmys has Julia Garner won?

Julia Garner has won three total Emmy Awards as of September 2022. The Ozark actress landed her first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in the Netflix show in 2019, which also ended up being her first win.

One year later in 2020, Garner landed her second Outstanding Supporting Actress nomination and win for Ozark. Because the Netflix series didn’t release a new season during the eligibility period in 2021, Garner was not nominated that year, but she made up for it in 2022.

Ozark returned for its fourth and final season in January 2022 and ended with the second half in April 2022. Garner also starred in the Netflix limited series Inventing Anna as troubled con artist Anna Delvey. The series premiered in February 2022.

For both of the hit Netflix series, Julia Garner scored double Emmy nominations. Ozark nabbed her third Outstanding Supporting Actress nomination, and Inventing Anna got the star her first nomination in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category.

During the 2022 ceremony, Garner won her third consecutive Emmy Award for her portrayal of Ruth Langmore in Ozark. Unfortunately, Garner didn’t pull a double win for Inventing Anna.

Congratulations to Julia Garner! We can’t wait to see what the talented star does next. For now, watch her work in both Ozark and Inventing Anna only on Netflix.

Next. Ozark, Lucifer and the 6 best (and 5 worst) Netflix series endings. dark
