The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards aired on NBC on Sept. 12, and the winners of each category were announced. Did Netflix’s Squid Game go home with any Emmys? We answered this burning question right below!

Squid Game is arguably the best Korean series streaming on Netflix. Actually, it’s Netflix’s most popular show. When it premiered in September 2021, it instantly became a global phenomenon. It was the talk of the town for months with thousands of fans talking about it all over social media and funny memes being created. We’re even expecting the show to be an inspiration for multiple Halloween costumes this year.

Due to its immense popularity, Squid Game was officially renewed for a second season and Netflix ordered a reality competition series based on the show. This is why it comes as no surprise that the survival drama series snagged multiple Emmy nominations this year. I mean, the show had already won numerous prestigious awards, including a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Series, Miniseries or Television Film, and several Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Then, at the 74th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, the survival series received four Emmys.
