5 good Netflix shows this weekend: Cobra Kai season 5, Call the Midwife, and more

Welcome to the weekend! This is a perfect time to sit back and unwind with some amazing Netflix shows. The streamer has something for everyone in its catalog of titles, with an impressive list of new releases in September. Several series have released new episodes this week, including Cobra Kai season 5 and Call the Midwife season 11.
This week Devil in Ohio and The Imperfects lead the Top 10 TV shows list and are in good company with series like Dated & Related, Partner Track, Echoes, and The Sandman. Stranger Things is still included in this list as the fourth season has been wildly popular.
If you are in the mood for a movie, check out the newly released thriller End of the Road, as well as some of the Top 10 movies this week. Morbius, Me Time, Love in the Villa, This is 40, The Poison Rose, I Came By, and more.

Let’s look at some great Netflix shows worthy of a weekend binge.
Cobra Kai season 5
The highly anticipated fifth season of Cobra Kai is now available on Netflix. The series is a sequel to The Karate Kid films originally released in the ’80s with Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who reprise their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence.
The fifth season will pick up after the shocking results of the All Valley Tournaments and see Sensei Terry Silver expand the Cobra Kai with his “No Mercy” style of karate. Johnny sets karate aside while Daniel calls on an old friend for aide.
Call the Midwife season 11
The eleventh season of Call the Midwife has recently been released. The period drama series follows a group of midwives working in the East End of London in the late 1950s and 1960s. Call the Midwife has been praised for shedding light on topical subjects and contemporary social, cultural and economic issues. The series has already been picked up for seasons 12 and 13 as well.
This season begins with the traditional Christmas special, followed by an episode set at Easter in 1967. The Easter Bonnet parade is held outside Nonatus House while Sister Monica Joan and Reggie anticipate the Eurovision song contest. Nancy is prepared to don her red cardigan after passing her midwifery examinations.
The Imperfects season 1
The series, touted as a “coming-of-rage” series, The Imperfects has released its first season on Netflix. This series follows a trio of 20-somethings, Abbi (Rhianna Jagpal), Juan (Iñaki Godoy), and Tilda (Morgan Taylor Campbell), who were turned into monsters with disruptive superpowers after undergoing experimental gene therapy.
They decide to hunt down Dr. Alex Sarkov (Rhys Nicholson), the scientist who conducted the experiments that transformed them, intending to force him to return them to their human forms.
I Survived a Crime season 1
The A&E series I Survived a Crime is hosted by ABC News reporter Gio Benitez and consists of 24 episodes. This true crime docuseries takes viewers on a journey of what it is like to be a victim of a sudden crime, from the first moments of realization of danger to the long-lasting effects some victims experience.
I Survived a Crime utilizes surveillance and cell phone footage of the crimes as they happened. It follows people going about their daily lives, who are then confronted with danger and the snap decisions to protect themselves and their families.
Diary of a Gigolo season 1
Diary of a Gigolo is a Mexican erotic thriller series directed by Sebastián Ortega and stars Jesús Castro, Victoria White and Fabiola Campomanes. This series is classified as a telenovela 2.0, an upgraded version of the genre.
The story follows Emanuel (Castro), who, after a childhood of poverty and violence, now lives a life of luxury as an escort. His life begins to fall apart when he breaks the one cardinal rule of his career, don’t fall in love.
