All American season 5 is not coming to Netflix in September 2022

With the way the fourth season ended, we need more from Spencer and his friends. We’ll need to wait for All American season 5 on Netflix.

There is no doubt that we need more from the All American team. The fourth season ended with some major cliffhangers for the characters. Coop seems to have a more positive future ahead of her, but she still has fears and questions. There’s always the threat of her unintentionally sabotaging her own life.

Then there’s Spencer and Olivia who are on the rocks. Olivia wants to write an article that affects Spencer. She needs to put her career first, but it could mean at the cost of her relationship rather than the two working through their problems.

The bad news is we won’t get to see how the story will play out just yet. All American season 5 is not on the list of Netflix releases in September. It’s not going to arrive on Netflix at all in 2022.

When will All American season 5 come to Netflix?

We will need to wait until 2023 at the earliest. All American season 5 hasn’t even premiered on The CW yet, so it’s not surprising that it won’t come to Netflix yet. We know we need to wait for the entire season to finish airing on the network.

Things are changing with The CW. The Nexstar deal has gone through, and the network has a new owner. This shouldn’t affect the current contracts in place, but it’s not clear just how long the legacy deal between The CW and Netflix is supposed to last or if there is a way for Nexstar to change the deal slightly.

Usually, we see CW shows head to Netflix eight days after the season finales. That should mean we see All American season 5 come to Netflix at the end of May or start of June 2023 assuming the finale airs in May as usual. We’ll know more closer to the time.

All American season 5 will premiere on The CW on Monday, Oct. 10 at 8/7c.
