Who doesn’t like a work-based comedy? Netflix’s Blockbuster series, starring Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Melissa Fumero and Fresh Off The Boat‘s Randall Park, is coming to Netflix in November 2022!

Other cast members you’ll likely recognize include Never Have I Ever’s Tyler Alvarez as Carlos Herrera, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’s Madeleine Arthur as Hannah Hadman, Orange Is the New Black‘s Olga Merediz as Connie Serrano, Curb Your Enthusiasm’s JB Smoove as Percy Scott, and Holly Hobbie’s Kamaia Fairburn as Kayla Scott.

The single-camera sitcom, which will run a ten-episode first season, is set to be released on the streaming giant on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 12:00 A.M. PT / 03:00 A.M. ET. So make sure to set your alarms and get ready to be introduced to your new favorite fall binge.

The series was created by Vanessa Ramos with David Caspe and Jackie Clarke also serving as writers/executive producers.

The series’ official logline, per TVLine, reveals that the show “explores what it takes — and, more specifically, who it takes — for a small business to succeed against all odds.”

Blockbuster follows Timmy Yoon (Randall Park), an “analog dreamer living in a 5G world,” who after learning that he is “operating the last Blockbuster Video” store in America, sets out to stay relevant and fights to keep the doors of the DVD and video store open by reminding the local community that they “provide something big corporations can’t: human connection.”

This new show is perfect for fans of The Office, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Parks and Recreation, and Superstore.
