Dynasty season 5 is coming to Netflix in September 2022

For the last time, a new season of The CW’s Dynasty will be released on Netflix in September. The network canceled the soap after five seasons back in May, making Dynasty season 5 the final season of the underrated, fan-favorite series.

In the fifth season of Dynasty, Fallon bounces back from a brush with death and the potential dissolution of her marriage to Liam. She dives back into work and repairing her relationship with Liam, which includes pursuing parenthood. But like all things Carrington, it won’t be easy.

Dynasty season 5 also introduces a new long-lost Carrington into the fold and features iconic guest stars like Grant Show’s Melrose Place co-star Daphne Zuniga and Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Charisma Carpenter. It’s a can’t-miss season of a can’t-miss show.

But when can fans around the world start watching the final season on Netflix? When can other fans rewatch the final episodes? Now that the series finale date has been set on The CW, we know exactly when Dynasty season 5 drops on Netflix!

When is Dynasty season 5 coming to Netflix?

The series finale of Dynasty will air on The CW on Friday, Sept. 16 at 9/8c. As of Aug. 19, the series is on a brief hiatus, but the last three episodes begin airing on Sept. 2, with the penultimate airing on Sept. 9 and the finale airing on the aforementioned date.

Because we know when the final episode airs on television, per the now-defunct Netflix deal with The CW, the season will hit Netflix eight days following the on-air series finale. Dynasty season 5 will be released on Netflix around the world on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Like all of its previous season (save for season 4), the fifth season contains 22 episodes. Even though that’s a much longer episode count that is the normal these days, Dynasty fans will surely binge-watch the entire season in a weekend to see how it all comes to an end.
