Is This Fool starring Chris Estrada going to stream on Netflix?
Chris Estrada is known for his stand-up comedy, but now he’s taking his talents to the small screen in his new series, This Fool.
The comedian is making his acting debut in the new show, which he also co-created, wrote, and executive produced. Joining him onscreen are actors Frankie Quinones as Luis, Laura Patalano as Esperanza, Michelle Ortiz as Maggie, Julia Vera as Maria, and Michael Imperioli as Minister Payne.
The series is inspired by the life and stand-up material of Estrada. He plays Julio Lopez, a 30-year-old who still lives at home, is in a relationship with his on again, off again girlfriend from high school, and he avoids dealing with his own problems.
The young man works at non-profit Hugs Not Thugs, a gang rehabilitation organization. While he doesn’t like dealing with his issues, one more is added to his plate when his older cousin and ex-gang member Luis (Quinones) gets out of prison and moves in with Julio and his family. Plus, Luis is taking part at the organization, so the cousins are bound to butt heads.
This new show is going to be such a fun watch! Will Netflix subscribers be able to view the upcoming comedy?
