Never Have I Ever season 2 ends with Devi and Paxton officially getting together, Fabiola and Eve confessing their love for one another, Eleanor and Trent possibly becoming a thing, and Ben and Aneesa together. Overall, things were looking up for all of the characters at the end of season 2, apart from Ben still harboring feelings for Devi. But problems start rising to the surface for all the couples at the beginning of Never Have I Ever season 3.

At the start of season 3, Devi and Paxton are faced with relationship trouble because Devi feels insecure about being with Paxton. Eleanor is unsure if she and Trent are a couple. Eve moves to South Korea because of her mom’s new business venture, which strains her relationship with Fabiola. Lastly, we start to notice how Ben and Aneesa aren’t really compatible.

As the season goes on, Ben and Aneesa just can’t make things right between them and eventually break up. But Aneesa doesn’t stay single for long. She gets together with someone we least expected. Also, the long-distance relationship doesn’t work out between Fabiola and Eve.

Yes, Fabiola and Aneesa get together in the third season. Honestly, we were not expecting Fabiola and Aneesa to get together at all. There were no signs of them liking each other until season 3. It all begins when Fabiola and Aneesa share a kiss inside the high school restroom. Aneesa had been feeling unappreciated and misunderstood by her boyfriend, Ben. She went into the restroom and started crying, not knowing Fabiola was in one of the stalls.

As Fabiola exits the stall, Aneesa quickly wipes away her tears. Fabiola starts congratulating Aneesa on her performance at the soccer match as Aneesa stares at her. Suddenly, Aneesa kisses Fabiola. Once they pull away, they stare at each other. The next day, they begin acting weird around one another since they hadn’t discussed the kiss. Fabiola and Aneesa eventually talk about the kiss, but they decide to forget that it ever happened.

Later, Ben and Aneesa break up due to them not sharing any common interests and Ben still having feelings for Devi. After they break up, Aneesa heads into a classroom and sees Fabiola. They talk about the breakup and share an intimate moment.

It’s not until the night of the drama club’s coffeehouse event that Fabiola and Aneesa officially get together. As they’re walking home from the event, Fabiola tells Aneesa that she needs to tell her something. But, before Fabiola could ask Aneesa to be her girlfriend, Aneesa asks Fabiola if they should just date since they obviously like each other. Then, they officially become a couple. But the honeymoon phase ends very quickly.

Do Fabiola and Aneesa break up in Never Have I Ever season 3?

Sadly, Fabiola and Aneesa break up. After Fabiola and Aneesa got together, they kept trying to have their first kiss as a couple, but it just never worked out. This was the first sign that they might be better off as friends than girlfriends, but Fabiola and Aneesa hoped that they would eventually have their first kiss.

Everything comes crashing down at Devi’s game night at her house. Des (Anirudh Pisharody) brings members from his debate team to the game night and Aneesa notices how Fabiola is attracted to one of the members. The member she’s attracted to is named Addison (Terry Hu). After the game night ends, Fabiola and Aneesa tell Addison goodbye and Aneesa notices how bashful Fabiola is around Addison.

Once Addison leaves, Aneesa tells Fabiola to kiss her. They kiss, but there’s no spark. Then, Aneesa tells Fabiola that she thinks they should just be friends. At first, Fabiola is against the idea but then realizes that they are better off as friends.

I liked Fabiola and Aneesa as a couple. I think that if the show had given them more time to get to know one another on a deeper level, it would’ve worked out between them. They had chemistry, in my opinion. Maybe they’ll get back together in Never Have I Ever season 4. If not, I hope they both find their special someone before the series ends.
