The final season of Locke and Key is here, and fans are in for so much more action with the family’s magical keys. The second season ended on a happy note for the Lockes as they defeated Dodge (Laysla De Oliveira) and were done with fighting demons… or so they thought. In the season’s final moments, we got to see a much more powerful force escape to the real world, and he might not be as easy to take down as Dodge.

Gideon (Kevin Durand) is the main villain in Locke and Key season 3, which is now streaming on Netflix. But despite this demon taking a front seat, do we get to see the return of Dodge, or Dodge using Gabe’s (Griffin Gluck) identity?

Spoilers ahead for Locke and Key season 3.

Throughout Locke and Key season 3, we’re introduced to new keys as the family tests a few out that turn out to be pretty dangerous. For instance, Bode uses the Time Shift Key despite being told not to, and he goes back in time without realizing his actions in the past could change everything.

In episode 3 “Five Minutes Past,” Bode goes back to a moment from season 2 when the siblings are fighting off Dodge (as Gabe) and Bode is in chains. He confronts the group, who’s shocked to see Bode in two places at once. Uncle Duncan (Aaron Ashmore) tells Bode from the future that what he’s doing isn’t a good idea, urging him to leave.

Gabe walks towards Bode and uses a key to turn himself back into the real Dodge, who runs after Bode, wanting the Time Shift Key. Dodge is able to grab hold of Bode’s leg, traveling back to the future with him.

Before episode 3 ends, Dodge possesses Bode’s body and then spends the next episode trying to find the rest of the keys. It’s not until episode 5, “Siege,” that the family realizes Bode is actually Dodge, and they end up teaming up with Dodge to fight off Gideon. That’s the last we see of her in Locke and Key season 3.

While Dodge, played both by Laysla De Oliveira and Griffin Gluck, do appear in Locke and Key season 3, the Lockes have a way bigger threat in Gideon to worry about this time around. Are they able to defeat him in the end? You’ll have to watch to find out!

You can stream all eight episodes of Locke and Key season 3 right now on Netflix.
