First footage of The Next 365 Days confirms Laura’s fate in upcoming movie
By Mads Lennon
We’re still 25 days away from the third and final film in the steamy erotic 365 Days trilogy, but Netflix has done fans a favor and released the first four minutes of footage from The Next 365 Days—footage that seemingly confirms Laura’s (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) fate!
For those who need a quick refresher (SPOILER!) at the end of the second movie, or 365 Days: This Day, there was a dramatic stand-off between Massimo (Michele Morrone), his evil twin Adriano, Massimo’s ex-lover Anna, Laura and Laura’s new beau Nacho. The conflict resulted Anna shooting Laura and Massimo shooting Adriano, leaving both of their lives hanging in the balance.
Those who have read the books might have felt a little more secure since we know Laura survives to see the third book, but the movies have already changed some things, who’s to say they wouldn’t change one more?
First Next 365 Days footage seems to confirm Laura’s fate
However, the odds of them killing Laura before the third and final movie appear to be very slim indeed, and that is further evidenced by the newly released footage.
In it, Massimo is shown standing in front of Adriano’s gravesite, and while Laura is not shown, we can assume that she is alive, even if she is recovering from her injuries somewhere, perhaps in a coma. The footage also show Olga (Magdalena Lamparska) preparing for her wedding, but she doesn’t exactly look like a blissful bride.
In the meantime, Adriano’s death has left Massimo with quite a mess on his hands and the four minutes of The Next 365 Days tease what’s in store for him as it looks like he’ll be trying to prevent a gang war.
Per Digital Spy, Netflix has released a logline for the movie that reads “Laura and Massimo’s relationship hangs in the balance as they try to overcome trust issues and jealousy while a tenacious Nacho works to push them apart.”
That seems to confirm, without a doubt, that Laura will be okay. Now, as for whether or not Massimo and Laura will be okay… that’s another story. Things did not end well for them in the third book as Laura actually ended up with Nacho (Simone Susinna). But there is a good chance the movie will change that divisive ending. We’ll have to wait until August 19 to find out!
365 Days and 365 Days: This Day are currently streaming on Netflix.
