Gone in the Night was helmed by Eli Horowitz in his directorial debut. He also co-wrote the horror movie’s screenplay with Matthew Derby. You might know Horowitz as the producer of the mystery thriller series Homecoming starring Janelle Monáe and the comedy film Kajillionaire.
The story follows a woman named Kath (Winona Ryder) and her boyfriend Max (John Gallagher Jr.) as they arrive at a remote cabin in the redwoods for a getaway. Once there, the couple realizes they’ve been double booked with a mysterious younger couple. Then, Kath and Max decide to share the cabin with the younger couple, but things go awry when Max and the young woman go missing.

Is Gone in the Night on Netflix?
Unfortunately, the film will not be available to stream on Netflix when it comes out on July 15. However, there’s a chance that it might be added to the streamer in the future if Netflix acquires licensing rights.
