What is the reality series Alone on Netflix about?

It seems as though we’re in an era where we love nothing more than watching strangers struggle to live life in the wilderness. Fortunately for us, Netflix has tons of series that depict just this, and you’re going to be extremely ecstatic to know that the streaming platform has way more where that came from than just Survivor and Snowflake Mountain. History Channel’s popular reality series Alone is one of the latest titles you can stream on Netflix today.

Though it’s an older show and only one season is currently available on Netflix, it’s recently gaining traction and is currently in the top 10. A ninth season of the show started in May 2022 and will continue through July on the History Channel. As of right now, it’s not clear if Netflix will be adding more seasons of the series to the platform.

Alone synopsis

Alone is a reality series that shows what happens when you take a diverse group of individuals and force them to rough it out in the brutal outdoors by themselves. While each participant is allowed to bring a few items of their choice, they still have to use all their intellect to figure out a way to create shelter, hunter, and ultimately, survive.

Which individuals were five steps ahead of the game? Which wouldn’t last a day in the wild? You’ll have to tune in to find out who sinks or swims when they’re all alone in unknown territory.
