The days are flying by and we’re only two days away from Boo, Bitch‘s release on Netflix. As always, we want to make sure you’re fully prepared for what will surely be a hilariously funny original series. So we’ve decided to share the parents guide and age rating right below.

Boo, Bitch is a comedy miniseries created by Lauren Iungerich, Tim Schauer, Kuba Soltysiak, and Erin Ehrlich. You might recognize Iungerich as the co-creator of the popular Netflix original On My Block. She also worked as a writer, director, and showrunner on the MTV teen series Awkward.

The miniseries follows Erika Vu (Lana Condor), a high school senior who has lived her life safely under the radar for most of her high school experience. But one day, Erika and her best friend Gia (Zoe Colletti) decide to make a last-ditch effort to live life to the fullest before graduation. However, Erika wasn’t expecting her night of fun to end with her crossing over to the spirit world.

So can you watch Boo, Bitch with the entire family, or should it be saved for a later time when the younger kids are off to bed? Below, we answered if the comedy series is kid-friendly or not.

Boo, Bitch parents guide and age rating

Boo, Bitch is rated TV-14, meaning it may be unsuitable for ages 14 and under. It was mainly given this age rating due to the strong language used by the characters in the show and the substance use. There will also be kissing scenes, alcohol consumption, and sexual references. All of the content just listed would be considered inappropriate for a younger audience to be watching.

So before you hit play on the show’s title page on Netflix and binge it to your heart’s content, make sure the younger kids are occupied with a kids movie or show. Netflix has tons of kid content on its platform, so you should have no problem finding something for them to watch. You’re not going to want to be disturbed once you start watching Boo, Bitch. I promise you!
