We would love to see we’re reentering the epic fantasy world with The Witcher season 3 this month, but that’s not the case. When will it come out?

As much as we would love to say “surprise,” there is some bad news. The Witcher season 3 isn’t anywhere on the list of Netflix releases in July. We never expected to see it, but it didn’t stop us from double-checking the list to see if there was a surprise waiting for us.

Filming is still happening, though. We can’t get the episodes if they haven’t been filmed yet, can we? Our eyes continue to be on any news that we can get about the series.

When will The Witcher season 3 come to Netflix?

We’re not expecting the episodes any time soon. In fact, we’re not expecting to see The Witcher season 3 premiere in 2022, especially since Blood Origins is set to arrive this year. It takes too long to film and then edit the episodes to have them all ready for a binge-watch.

Henry Cavill has been hard at work with filming. He took some time out to take part in the 13km race called  The Durrell Challenge. However, he shared on Instagram that he walked it because his body had taken a beating from two weeks of filming fight scenes. It gives us an idea of what’s to come for Geralt in The Witcher season 3.

Director Steven Surjik told Brigade Radio that the creators are already mapping up The Witcher season 4. Of course, the season hasn’t been officially confirmed just yet but that doesn’t stop the creators from getting things planned out. They need to so they can pitch it to Netflix. With the success of the series, though, we’re counting on a fourth season even if it ends up being ordered as the fourth and final season.
