Is The Princess starring Joey King available on Netflix? (where to stream)
By Mads Lennon
Joey King and Dominic Cooper star in Le-Van Kiet’s The Princess, a dark fantasy action comedy that circumvents everything we know about the stereotypical fairy tale princess.
King plays a strong-willed princess who adamantly refuses to wed a sociopath as part of an arranged marriage. As punishment, she is kidnapped and locked away in a tower and her vindictive suitor tries to come after her and her family for the throne. The princess must protect her family and save her kingdom. Besides Cooper and King, the film also stars Olga Kurylenko, Martin Taskov, Ivo Arakov and Veronica Ngo.
Is The Princess on Netflix?
No, sadly The Princess is not a Netflix movie nor has Netflix licensed it. You cannot stream the Joey King-led action flick on the service and that is not likely to change.
Movies like The Princess on Netflix
However, even though this dark fantasy is not streaming on Netflix, there are plenty of similar movies on the service and King has also starred in several Netflix projects, such as the popular Kissing Booth film trilogy. Netflix’s upcoming movie The School for Good & Evil also seems similar in genre to this movie, though it won’t be released until the fall.
Other Netflix films you might consider checking out:
- Similar vibes: Enola Holmes, Crimson Peak and Charming
- Also featuring Joey King: The Kissing Booth trilogy, The Conjuring, Radium Girls and Crazy, Stupid, Love
