Who plays Blake’s brother Ben Carrington in Dynasty season 5?

Following the celebratory but still explosive 100th episode of Dynasty, the final season of the hit reboot has a few more tricks up its sleeve before the inevitable series finale this summer. Dynasty season 5 introduces Blake’s long lost brother Ben Carrington.

Ben arrived in the final moments of the 100th episode, after Blake and Cristal had been searching for the culprit of the threatening Carrington family crest that arrived at their door in shambles. They assumed it was Claudia Blaisdel, but we’d hoped it was the return of Steven.

However, Ben announced his impending appearance in true, dramatic Carrington fashion, and his arrival at the episode’s end was a chills-inducing moment and another perfect nod to the original classic series. But who plays the handsome brother of Blake and Dominique?

Before Dynasty season 5 gives us our proper introduction to Ben Carrington in season 5 episode 15, aptly titled “Ben” (another nod to the original series), let’s get to know the character and the actor who brings the new version of him to life.

Dynasty season 5 Ben Carrington

Australian actor Brett Tucker plays Ben Carrington in Dynasty season 5. He’s known for his roles in such shows as The Saddle Club, McLeod’s Daughters, Neighbours, Mistresses, and Station 19. Tucker makes his first appearance on Dynasty, though his character has been implied before.

In Dynasty season 2, Fallon meets up with her French cousin Juliette in Paris, and she’s the daughter of Blake’s estranged brother Ben. It’s unclear whether Juliette will be making a return on the series as well, but for now, we’re excited to see the drama Ben brings.

The original series, Ben Carrington first arrives in season 6 as Alexis brings him to town from Australian to help bring down Blake. He later leaves town in the season 7 finale in the wake of a paternity scandal. So far, it doesn’t seem as though Alexis has anything to do with Ben’s arrival, but we shouldn’t put that past her quite yet. We’ll have to wait and see if a paternity scandal arises.
