Austin Bulter stepped into the shoes of the King of Rock and Roll in 2022 with one of the biggest movies of the year, Elvis. The drama film is already currently streaming somewhere, but it’s set to be available to watch on another streaming platform soon. Where? Well, none other than our favorite streamer, Netflix, of course!

The Baz Luhrmann film tells the story of the King of Rock and Roll’s rise to fame. Elvis Presley was a favorite of many from the 1950s to the 1970s until his untimely death. However, it wasn’t an easy rise to the top. Just like the musical biopics focusing on Freddie Mercury and Elton John, this one sees an actor step into the shoes of another legend.

Austin Bulter (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Carrie Diaries) portrays Elvis Presley in the film. It all starts in the 1950s as he rose to the top with the difficult relationship with his manager, Tom Parker. Tom Hanks plays the role of the manager, while Olivia DeJonge plays Presley’s future wife, Priscilla.

Butler sings in the movie for the earlier songs, and as we get later into Presley’s career, we get a blend of both Butler’s and Elvis’s real voices.

Elvis is slated to come to Netflix in December 2023

According to the Netflix app, the biographical drama film is scheduled to be released on the streaming platform on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023. It’ll probably drop on Netflix at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET on this date since that’s when the streaming giant usually drops new shows and movies.

But if you can’t wait that long and want to watch Elvis now, you can do so by making your way to another streaming platform.

As a Warner Bros. movie, Elvis is currently streaming on Max, formerly HBO Max The movie was added 45 days after the theatrical release, similar to what we’ve seen with The Batman and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of DumbledoreElvis is also available to stream on Hulu. But keep in mind that in order to gain access to these films on these streaming platforms, you’ll have to have a subscription to them.

Your other option is to rent or buy the movie through Amazon Video, Google Play, Vudu, and the Microsoft Store.

If you’re looking for biopics to stream on Netflix, we’d recommend watching The Dirt, Blonde, or Jobs.
