What is Sing 2 about?

Writer and director Garth Jennings returns to do the same for the sequel to the hit 2016 computer-animated feature that was nominated for Best Animated Feature Film at the Golden Globe Awards. The star-studded follow-up feature with an exceptional Rotten Tomatoes rating grossed $407 million against a budget of $85 million and ended up being the tenth highest-grossing film of 2021 and the highest-grossing animated film of 2021.

Sing 2 has the ambitious koala Buster Moon is back in action with his all-star cast of talented animal performers, and they’re looking to go big on their next act. But nothing this epic ever comes easy, and there is a big obstacle Moon and friends will have to overcome to fully realize their dream. They will have to get the most reclusive rock star, Clay Calloway, to join them on stage for the special occasion.
