Love & Gelato is a movie adaptation of the romance novel of the same name by Jenna Evans Welch. It was directed, written, and produced by Brandon Camp with Gennaro Formisano signed on as executive producer.

The story follows a young American woman named Lina who embarks on a trip to Rome to fulfill her late mother’s last wish of getting to know her father. While in Rome, Lina falls in love with the city, the people, and the yummy gelato.

Susanna Skaggs stars as the protagonist, Lina Emerson. You might know Skaggs from her roles in the television series Halt and Catch Fire, The Gifted and Mr. Mercedes. Killing Eve‘s Owen McDonnell also stars in the film as Howard. Lastly, there’s Anjelika Washington, who plays the role of Addie. She’s best known for her roles in Netflix’s Tall Girl, Stargirl and Young Sheldon.
