First Kill death count: Every character that dies in season 1

Netflix has finally dropped First Kill and people wasted no time tuning in to watch the complete first season. As expected from a show about vampires and monsters in general, many characters met their demise this season. If you’re curious about who died in First Kill, you’ve landed at the right place!

First Kill follows a vampire and a monster hunter (Juliette and Calliope), who are both tasked with making their first kill but find it hard to accomplish the job when romantic feelings become involved.

The story mainly focuses on the forbidden love story between Juliette and Calliope, but we have to remember that with mythological creatures involved, there’s bound to be some trouble. So who died in the vampire series? There’s no need to go back and rewatch the show to find out the characters who died because we’ve compiled a list of all the character deaths in First Kill right below!

Who died in First Kill?

Ashley

Ashley Stanton is the first character death of the season. She died a tragic death by getting her head bashed in and her liver excised at Noah’s party. Juliette lies to her family and takes credit for Ashley’s death to get them to leave her alone about making her first kill, but she didn’t actually do it. We find out later that Oliver killed Ashley as a present for Juliette and then turned her into a zombie. He was hoping that once Juliette saw Ashley’s dead body, her bloodlust would win over and she’d drink from her. Oliver also reveals that he cut out Ashley’s liver because his witch girlfriend needed it for an elixir. Zombie Ashley later gets killed by Calliope with her head getting sliced off with an ax.

Noah

Noah gets brutally murdered by zombie Ashley. A monster drill happens while everyone is at school because a zombie is on the loose. During the drill, Noah and Ben are making out in the boys’ locker room, and then they begin to argue about their relationship status. While Ben wants to be exclusive, Noah doesn’t. Suddenly, a zombie Ashley runs by and they’re both spooked. Noah starts to panic about being caught with Ben in the locker room and leaves. While trying to leave the school, Ben is encountered by zombie Ashley. She claws at his chest and then knocks him to the ground before ripping his spine out of his body.

Davina

I think the most shocking character death of the season has to go to Davina. Davina gets eaten by freshly new Legacy vampire Sebastian. Margot, Elinor, and Davina meet with the Davenports to discuss Elinor’s upcoming marriage to Tom while Sebastian stays upstairs. After they discuss how many kids Elinor will have, Elinor disagrees with the number and then excuses herself to go talk to Sebastian. Davina follows Elinor upstairs to speak with Sebastian. They argue before Davina tries to grab and force Elinor to come with her downstairs. This is Sebastian’s last straw and he devours Davina.

Clayton Cook

After Calliope stomps hard on Clayton’s face, she and Juliette think that he’s dead. Juliette then calls Ben for help to dispose of his body, but once Ben arrives, the body is nowhere to be found. Then, Bunny shows up and invites them all back to her place but only Ben decides to leave. Just as Ben turns around to leave, Clayton shows up with a weapon and swings at Ben. Juliette runs up to attack Clayton and is able to get the upper hand. She knocks him to the ground before biting his neck and draining him. This was Juliette’s first kill.

Sara and Mike Franklin

Sara and Mike tried to escape the Fairmonts after a failed mission but were caught by Elinor and Oliver. In the end, Sara and Mike die by getting stabbed in the chest with their own spear by Elinor and Oliver during the night of Juliette’s consecration ceremony. Tess finds them stuck together on a tree by a spear.

Theo

Theo’s death was by far the saddest death of the season. After Theo and Apollo team up to try to figure out which Legacy vampire killed Theo’s mom, they decide to meet up with Elinor to get intel. Initially, Theo stays in the car while Apollo goes in the bar to meet up with Elinor, but after Apollo spends too much time in the bar, Theo becomes worried and follows him. Theo busts into the restroom where Apollo and Elinor are making out, and Elinor finds out that she’s been set up. Then, they all engage in a fight. As Apollo is about to stake Elinor, Elinor moves out of the way, and Apollo accidentally stabs Theo. However, we later find out that Juliette turned Theo into a vampire. So we haven’t seen the last of Theo if there is to be a second season.
