Happy new month!

Summer is officially only weeks away, meaning you’ll have plenty of time to do whatever your heart desires very soon. Perhaps you’re more extroverted and would prefer to spend your warm days at the beach or a restaurant with friends. Or, maybe you’re introverted, finding pleasure in spending the summer days indoors under an air conditioner and in front of your Netflix screens.

If you’re the latter, then you’re in luck because, this month, the site is adding even more titles for you to watch. Spiderhead and First Kill are a few titles on everyone’s radar, but it’s the upcoming anime series truly causing all the stir.

Netflix’s June 2022 anime lineup

Last month, Netflix blessed us with amazing titles such as Vampire in the Garden and the second season of Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045. Thankfully, there’s so much more sci-fi action and wild adventures where that came from!

Below are the three best anime coming to Netflix in June 2022. Check it out!

Spriggan

Release Date: June 18

After months of teasing its debut, anime fans will finally be able to stream every second of the seriously awesome anime series, Spriggan.

The series is set in a world where there exist mysterious ancient relics that hold enough power to change humanity forever. ARCAM, the organization tasked with protecting these relics, faces various sticky situations. Battling against those who wish to cause chaos once they possess these artifacts, preventing a global war from breaking out, and trying to prioritize human life are daunting tasks that are far too much for the organization to handle all at once, which is why the Spriggans, the elite of ARCAM, are called to save the day.

With the fate of the world on their shoulders and time running out, how will the Spriggans bring about peace in this tumultuous world? What secrets will they discover on their mission? And most importantly, is anyone worthy to wield the power of the relics?

See all this and more in the official trailer for Spriggan below.

One Piece (G-8 Arc)

Release Date: June 22

Following the events of the Skypiea Arc, One Piece fans will be able to enjoy the exciting journey that is the G-8 Arc (episodes 196-206).

In this arc, Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates find themselves trapped on a marine base full of unfamiliar people. Some are nice and provide knowledge on the ins and outs of this mysterious setting, while others are the very malicious people that caused the trouble in the first place.

No matter the person, Luffy and his friends have no issue blending in with the crowd to escape. But when their true identities are found out, they’ll have to act fast to avoid having their freedom taken away by no-good marines.

In addition to the G-8 Arc, we predict Netflix users will also be able to see the first couple of episodes in the Long Ring Long Land Arc, the fourteenth story in the series, later this month.

Bastard!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-

Release Date: June 30

Bastard!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy- is the anime reboot fans have been patiently waiting for ever since Netflix hinted at its release earlier this year.

The anime follows Dark Schneider, a resurrected wizard who must rid the world of the chaos brought upon by the Dark Rebel Army. To arise victoriously, Dark must learn the new world before him, mainly because the present is filled with ridiculously strong individuals who will stop at nothing to get their way. But these threats pale in comparison to the possibility that Anthrasax, the god of destruction, will revive once more.

Will Dark Schneider be able to thwart these terrible plans? Or will evil prevail? Only time will tell.

Check out the official trailer for Bastard!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy- below.

Does this list have you brimming with anticipation? If so, head over to Netflix to begin streaming every second of these epic anime titles when they officially premiere in June 2022.
