New Netflix movies and shows: June 1, 2022

Netflix always adds a bunch of new movies and shows on the first of the month and June is no different. June 1 brings a bunch of comedy movies, a couple of movies from a very popular franchise, and quite a few Oscar-winning films. Most of the new additions aren’t brand new, but they are fun to watch whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth.

If you’re looking for a laugh (or a Christmas comedy in June), Netflix has you covered with a ton of comedies coming on June 1. This includes Anchorman, Dumb and Dumber, Mr. Bean’s Holiday, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and Soul Plane.

Whether it was planned or a coincidence, Netflix is also adding three of the Mission: Impossible films only a few days after the trailer came out for the seventh movie in the franchise. The movies available to stream on June 1 include Mission: Impossible, Mission: Impossible II, and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.

Looking for some Academy Award-winning movies? There are a bunch of those coming to Netflix on June 1st as well. The Departed, The Fighter, The Hurt Locker, and Titanic are all being added to the streaming service.
