You season 4 is not coming to Netflix in June 2022

It feels like so long since we last caught up with the one and only Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) in season 3 of You. The Netflix Original came back with new episodes in Oct. 2021 and it was probably the most bonkers season to date. In attempt to start over fresh, Joe and Love (Victoria Pedretti) move to a town in California with their baby and try to live a normal life. But you already know with these two, that’s not exactly possible.

You season 3 was so wild and we cannot wait for You season 4 to premiere! Fortunately, we know that a fourth season is in the works, but the bad news is it’s not going to come out for a little while. Now that the Netflix new releases for June 2022 list is out, we know for sure that You season 4 is not coming next month.

Does You season 4 have a release date?

But even though we know for sure that You season 4 is not coming in June 2022, what we don’t know is when it’s releasing. The new season does not have a release date yet and they’re actually still filming. As we’ve previously reported, You season 4 began production in March 2022 and it’s believed they will wrap in August 2022.

Because of that, there’s a chance the next installment will not drop this year, though we hope that’s not the case. After a typical Netflix title concludes filming, it usually takes at least six months in post-production for it to be ready for release. Given You does not require a lot of special effects, we’re hopeful we’ll get season 4 by the end of the year, possibly for a holiday release.
