Welp, somehow another season of The Circle has officially come to a close. It feels like only the other day our newest batch of contestants were moving into The Circle to compete for the grand prize and the title of The Circle season 4 winner.

Now that season 4 has come to a close, the burning question has shifted from who will win the season to will there be another season.

It’s a question that comes up often once a season has come to a close and one that can go either way for most Netflix shows. So is The Circle season 4 going to be the show’s last or is another season in the works?

Is The Circle cancelled?

Fear not! While Netflix has been known to cancel series despite their popularity, The Circle has not been cancelled and will return for another season! It’s not too surprising as the series remains one of the most popular reality series on Netflix with season 4 once again standing out as a favorite in the month of its release.

Is The Circle renewed for season 5?

The Circle season 5 is indeed happening! In August 2021, Netflix handed out a two-season renewal to the series for season 4 and season 5.

The decision to pick the series up for two seasons back in 2021 mirrored Netflix’s previous renewal strategy, which saw the streamer order seasons 2 and 3 at once. This helped Netflix to film the seasons back-to-back, which then allowed them to bring fans new seasons faster without extended hiatuses.

The Circle season 5 release date updates

While a release date for The Circle season 5 has not been set, we’re expecting that season 5 will arrive sometime in late 2022.

Last year, Netflix chose to release season 2 in the spring and released season 3 in the fall. Considering we’ve seen season 4 arrive in late spring, it’s fully possible season 5 could arrive sometime between September – November 2022.

We know the season has been filmed already, so it’s just a matter of when Netflix chooses to roll out the episodes.
