How old is Erica from Stranger Things?

How are all you Stranger Things fans feeling? Can you believe the Stranger Things season 4 premiere is so close? I can’t!

The fourth season’s nine episodes have been split into two volumes: volume 1 will drop on May 27 with the first seven episodes, followed by the remaining two on July 1. It seems like a weird way to divide up the season. But hey. I’m not going to complain about getting a large chunk of the episodes first. We’ve waited long enough!

Over the years we’ve seen the kids go from being tiny to the teens (and some even older!) that they are today. The Stranger Things timeline isn’t too hard to follow, but you might be wondering how old some of the characters are supposed to be. And that includes Lucas’ younger sister!

How old is Erica Sinclair from Stranger Things?

We first meet the sassy, feisty Erica Sinclair in the show’s second season. At that point the nerd in making was nine years old. In season 3 at 10 years old, she’s a full-fledged nerd like her older brother and his friends and helps them save Hawkins. And now going into the fourth season, I’m sure the 11-year-old Erica will be as helpful as ever.

While she’s playing an 11-year-old, the actress behind the fan-favorite character is a few years older. Priah Ferguson is actually a teen herself at 15 years old. I know. How can a 15-year-old pass for a pre-teen?

But honestly she’s not the only one. All of the “kids” on the show are playing much younger ages than their actual ages in real-life. Millie Bobby Brown is 18, playing a 15-year-old Eleven in season 4. Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink aren’t even teens anymore! They’re both 20.
