Dorothy Wang confirms Bling Empire season 3, says it’s already ‘locked and loaded’
By Mads Lennon
Bling Empire newcomer Dorothy Wang is happy to provide the lowdown on all things related to the glitzy Netflix reality series. According to a recent Page Six exclusive, Bling Empire season 3 is “already locked and loaded.” We haven’t gotten official confirmation yet from Netflix, but it sounds like there is more to come from the hit show since Dorothy claims they’ve already filmed it.
That’s not too surprising given the way the second season ended so suddenly and with so much left unresolved. Those who have watched the eight latest episodes probably noticed the finale seemed rather abrupt.
We never got to the bottom of the Anna/Christine drama and then Kelly’s ex-boyfriend Andrew suddenly re-entered the picture and showed up at Anna’s house after not appearing all season. It was a strange ending that lacked resolution. I assumed additional episodes had been filmed and Netflix opted to split them up for whatever reason.
Dorothy Wang says the drama will intensify in Bling Empire season 3
While chatting with Page Six, Dorothy said that all the drama from season would continue to “intensify and heat up.” She added that the “feuds get feudier [sic] and there’s a lot of deep-rooted things that come out.”
Given how much drama already occurred in season 2, I can’t imagine how much more there could possibly be! I’m assuming we’ll also get more resolution between Kevin and Kim, too, since the duo was left in an awkward place by the end of the season post-lie detector debacle.
Newcomer Mimi Morris and her husband Don also didn’t get much screen time in the second season, so I wonder if that will change in season 3.
When will Bling Empire season 3 premiere?
Since we don’t have official confirmation from Netflix yet, we cannot say with certainty when the new season will debut. But Dorothy had an answer for that too.
"“A lot of lines are drawn and a lot of friendships are ended,” Wang tells us, adding that the third season will “probably” premiere “at the end of the summer.”"
If she’s correct, that means the third season (which I’m guessing will be another eight episodes) will likely arrive by late August or early September, which would be in line with her late summer estimate.
