A Perfect Pairing is an upcoming Netflix original movie directed by Stuart McDonald from a screenplay co-written by Hilary Galanoy and Elizabeth Hackett. You might recognize McDonald from his work on the television series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Black-ish. This will be Galanoy and Hackett’s third Netflix project they’ve worked on together, with previous projects being Falling Inn Love and Love, Guaranteed.

The story follows a diligent LA wine executive who travels across the globe to Australia to land a major client but finds herself signing on to work as a ranch hand on a sheep farm to get in the client’s good graces. While working the sheep farm, the wine exec meets a mysterious local and sparks fly.
