There she meets the rugged and mysterious Max (Demos) and sparks fly shortly after.
Those who have seen the trailer might have noticed the gorgeous landscape and background. While watching the film, you’ll notice that the movie has a lot of beautiful scenery and you might be curious to find out where it was filmed. We’ll give you the rundown below.
A Perfect Pairing filming locations
A Perfect Pairing actually did shoot on location in the land down under. The film shot in Queensland, Australia and was produced by the Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning production company Hoodlum Entertainment, which operates in Australia, the US and the UK, in collaboration with Screen Australia.
So if you were curious as to whether or not A Perfect Pairing really filmed in Australia, there is your answer: yes, it did! The movie was proudly supported by the City of Gold Coast. The producers also worked closely with the Animal Protection Agency to ensure all the animals featured in the movie were safe and comfortable throughout filming.
Toward the end of the film credits, the filmmakers also “acknowledge and pay respect to the Kombumerri people, the traditional owners of the djagun (land), which form parts of the wider Yugambeh Language Region on which [they] filmed.”
That statement provides some additional insight into the exact parts of Queensland in which production on A Perfect Pairing took place.
