The Lincoln Lawyer is a new series released today on Netflix. All ten episodes of the first season are streaming now. Based on the book The Brass Verdict by Michael Connelly, the new show is a gripping legal thriller that provides plenty of compelling twists and turns.
One thing that you might notice while you’re watching the show is the music. There aren’t a lot of songs used in The Lincoln Lawyer season 1, but the few that are there are perfectly placed. As is the case with most dramas, this show uses a mixture of sounds and instrumentals to set the tone, but some catchy tunes do make their way into the season on occasion.

What did you think about the music used in the show? Which musical moment was your favorite?
Personally, I appreciated the use of “Trouble” during the finale as I thought it fit perfectly with the end of the season and everything that had happened. However, I also loved hearing “I Melt With You” since its such a classic throwback song. And “California Sun” was the perfect way to introduce Mickey and his iconic Lincoln town car in the premiere.
