The Lincoln Lawyer is coming at us fast with the complete first season dropping on Netflix on May 13. It’s definitely a Netflix new release that you don’t want to miss!

The Lincoln Lawyer is a legal thriller series created by David E. Kelley and developed by Ted Humphrey. Everyone knows Kelley as the mastermind behind so many popular legal drama series such as The PracticeBoston LegalAlly McBeal etc. He’s also the creator of the Emmy award-winning series Big Little Lies. Humphrey is best known for his work on the legal drama series The Good Wife.

The Netflix original is a television adaptation of the 2008 book titled The Brass Verdict by Michael Connelly. Playing the leading role of Mickey Haller is The Magnificent Seven‘s Manuel Garcia-Rulfo. The rest of the main cast includes Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Christopher Gorham.

The Lincoln Lawyer synopsis

It’s about a Los Angeles lawyer named Mickey Haller, who’s looking to restart his career after being sidelined after an accident. Running his law practice out of his Lincoln Town Car instead of an office, Mickey finally receives his biggest case yet.

The Lincoln Lawyer is rated TV-MA, meaning it’s for mature audiences only. The show may not be suitable for ages 17 and under due to some content that many parents would consider inappropriate for younger kids. Some of the content includes violence and alcohol consumption.
