On April 27, Netflix revealed its summer 2022 slate of feature films and Seoul Vibe was included in the lineup. We’ve been keeping track of everything that has come out about the film and have shared what we found below.

Seoul Vibe is an action-adventure film created by John Yoo and Kwon Oh-hyun. Moon Hyun-sung signed on to direct the movie, and Andmarq Studio produced it. MCMC and UAA also co-produced the film.

With a cast of incredibly talented actors attached to the film, we’re expecting this movie to be an instant hit when it premieres on Netflix later this year.

Seoul Vibe release updates

When Netflix revealed its summer 2022 movie slate, the streamer only announced the release dates for some of the upcoming films. Unfortunately, Seoul Vibe was only given a vague release period of summer 2022.

Production on the film started in August 2021 and wrapped sometime at the end of last year. So it’s been in post-production for a while now. Our guess is that editing is complete and that the film is just waiting on an official release date from Netflix. We could see the action film as early as June. If it is to come in June, we’ll likely hear of a release date announcement sometime in May. The latest we could see the Netflix film would be September. Hopefully, it’s given an early summer release.
