Partner Track starring Arden Cho release date confirmed for summer 2022
Netflix has just announced that a new legal drama series titled Partner Track is coming to the streamer in summer 2022. We’re so excited to share all the juicy details about the Arden Cho-led series.
We first learned about Partner Track in September 2021 when Netflix gave a 10-episode series order and announced that Arden Cho would be leading the cast as the protagonist. Based on Helen Wan’s 2013 book titled “The Partner Track,” the story follows a young Chinese-American lawyer as she struggles to make partner at an elite New York City law firm.
Georgia Lee created the new original series with several directors directing various episodes. In addition, Lee and Sarah Goldfinger signed on as co-showrunners and executive producers. Kim Shumway, Tony Hernandez, and Kristen Campo are also executive producers.
Production wrapped in February, and we’ve been patiently waiting for Netflix to announce the official release date. In May, Netflix announced a release window but not a specific release date. But I guess we have to look on the bright side. At least we won’t have to wait until the fall to see Partner Track.
Partner Track release updates
On May 9, one of the many Netflix official Twitter accounts tweeted a first-look photo of Arden Cho starring as Ingrid Yun in Partner Track. The caption to the post reads, “here is your exclusive #GoldenFirstLook at @arden_cho as Ingrid for #PartnerTrack Season 1! Coming to @Netflix this summer, and inspired by the novel by Helen Wan.”
Although summer isn’t a specific release date, we can make predictions. Summer is from June to September. This means that Partner Track could be released anywhere between those months. If the legal drama is to come in June, we can probably expect Netflix to announce the release date sometime this month. Netflix typically announces its new releases for the following month, the month prior.
However, we think that Netflix would’ve announced the official release date instead of a vague “it’s coming in the summer” post if Partner Track was coming in June. So we’re probably looking at a release date somewhere between July to September. Obviously, we’re hoping for an early summer release.
Once Netflix announces the official release date, you’ll be the first to know. Make sure to stay tuned to Netflix Life for more information about Partner Track!
