After a string of extremely heinous crimes, a cop named Surekha is determined to uncover what brutal person is behind these countless murders. He suspects a man named Siddharth, who initially seems to be a fairly normal fellow. However, upon further investigation, it becomes unmistakably clear that Siddharth may not be who he says he is.
Why is Siddharth hellbent on torturing his victims? Is it a senseless urge or is there a reason why he’s become the violent man that he is today? Most importantly, will Surekha ever be able to put an end to Siddharth’s killings? All these questions will certainly be answered soon enough.
The official synopsis of Thar via Netflix is below.
"Siddharth, an antique dealer scouts old, abandoned forts in a remote Rajasthan village. The region has recently been rocked by a series of violent killings. As the local cop Surekha Singh investigates these killings, he crosses paths with Siddharth and soon realizes that the ruggedly handsome antique dealer is not who he seems and that his intentions may be far more devious."
