The Netflix Is A Joke festival kicked off on April 28 in various places in Los Angeles, and it seems like there’s been a pretty good turnout. We’re just two days away from the festival coming to a close, and there are still so many more wonderful acts to perform.

If you’re not familiar with the Netflix Is A Joke festival, let me give you a rundown of what it is. It’s an 11-day comedy festival in Los Angeles, starting on April 28 and ending on May 8. It’s Netflix’s way of celebrating and bringing together some of the funniest people in the entertainment industry.

Over the course of the festival, there will be over 250 live shows taking place in multiple venues across Los Angeles. Over 130 artists are expected to perform at the Netflix Is A Joke festival. Some talented individuals who have already performed include Kevin Hart, Wanda Sykes, John Mulaney, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Bill Burr, Natalie Palamides, Marlon Wayans, Pete Davidson, etc.

Some people who are still expected to make appearances and/or perform before the festival ends include Patton Oswalt, Gabriel Iglesias, Amy Schumer, Margaret Cho, Iliza Shlesinger, Taylor Tomlinson, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Ms. Pat, and more. Events have also included some of Netflix’s original series, like Cobra Kai and Big Mouth. On May 5, at the Cobra Kai: Live & Bad Ass event, the release date for Cobra Kai season 5 was announced before it was announced to the whole world.

Unfortunately, you can not watch the festival online. At the moment, the only way you can watch all of the shows is if you buy tickets to the festival. However, Netflix has been uploading clips from various shows on its Netflix Is A Joke official YouTube page.

Netflix hasn’t announced if footage from all the shows or even some of the shows will be available to stream on the platform in the future. But I think there’s a good chance the streamer will put together something for subscribers. We’ll keep you posted on what Netflix decides, so stay tuned to Netflix Life!
