The weekend is always a great time to binge Netflix shows. This month, Netflix has several highly anticipated releases; we are looking at you, Stranger Things, but many other great shows and movies are releasing in May. Below we have a great list of recommendations to take your weekend binge to the next level.
This week’s Netflix Top 10 TV shows list has two fan-favorite series in their final seasons. Ozark and Grace and Frankie have released their series last episodes in April, so don’t miss these two. This week, other great choices on this list include The Circle: A Social Media Competition, The Marked Heart, Married at First Sight, and Bridgerton is still holding strong.

Welcome to Eden (Season 1)
A new Spanish thriller has come to Netflix. Check out season 1 of Welcome to Eden or Bienvenidos a Edén. The series is created by Joaquín Górriz and Guillermo López Sánchez, who have collaborated on previous projects.
Zoa and four young, attractive teens active on social media are invited to an exclusive party. Set on a secret island, the party is sponsored by a new drink brand, but as the young people party the night away, they never give a thought to what would await them the morning after. It is a story of paradise turning into a nightmare.
The Pentaverate (Limited Series)
The six-episode limited series The Pentaverate stars funny man Mike Myers, who plays eight different characters. This series is a spinoff of the 1993 romantic black comedy So I Married an Axe Murderer, in which Myers also starred.
A group of five men has influenced worldwide events since the Black Plague of 1347. The society known as The Pentaverate faces a threat from within. Will a Canadian journalist be the one to uncover the truth and save the world?
Meltdown Three Mile Island (Limited Series)
The four-part documentary, Meltdown Three Mile Island, takes a look at the near catastrophe that took place in Pennsylvania at the nuclear power plant, Three Mile Island.
This documentary is from Richard Parks’ point of view, who was the chief engineer and eventual whistleblower, and the community it impacted. Never before seen video, reenactments, archival footage, and deep-dive interviews shed light on the US’s worst nuclear incident.
Bullsh*t The Game Show (Season 1)
Howie Mandel hosts the Netflix game show Bullsh*t The Game Show, where contestants get a chance to win money, even if their answers are wrong.
If you are good at bluffing, this is the game for you. Contestants must make their way up the money ladder by answering questions correctly. But, if they don’t know the correct answer, they go with an incorrect one and convince the other players that their answer is correct. You don’t need to be the most intelligent contestant, just the most convincing.
Blood Sisters (Limited Series)
Blood Sisters is Netflix’s first Nigerian original series from Nigeria’s entertainment industry known as Nollywood. This four-part thriller is set in Nigeria’s largest city, Lagos, and follows best friends Sarah (Ini Dima Okojie) and Kemi (Nancy Isime) as they ready themselves for Sarah’s wedding.
The groom, Kola (Deyemi Okanlawon), spoils the day with his abusive tendencies, but Sarah’s family pressures her not to call off the wedding. This series is a perfect meld of melodrama, comedy, and awareness of social issues, giving an authentic look at Nigerian culture.
