Dead End: Paranormal Park trailer, release date, cast, synopsis and more

If you are like me and always open to finding new animated shows with a darker edge to them then you’re going to want to keep the upcoming animated Netflix series Dead End: Paranormal Park on your radar. Formerly known as DeadEndia, this upcoming fantasy horror comedy show is created by Hamish Steele, based on the graphic novels of the same name and a cartoon web short.
The novels were also created by Steele and the web short is from Steele and Cartoon Hangover’s Too Cool! Cartoons, it’s called Dead End. The series will follow a group of friends and their magical talking dog as they balance summer jobs at a local haunted house while trying to fend off the very real supernatural forces lurking inside.
Steele is the creator and will also serve as an executive producer on the show, which is produced by Blink Industries and Netflix Animation. Tom Stuart (Angry Birds on The Run) will also executive produce.

We finally have a release date for the show’s first season! Season 1 launches on June 16, 2022.

The cast is an exciting one that includes Pretty Smart star Emily Osment, Spider-Man: Far from Home actor Zach Barack and more talented actors. Alex Brightman, who voices the magical talking dog Pugsley, is best known for starring in Beetlejuice The Musical.
One of the most exciting aspects of Dead End is that the show is very diverse and queer-friendly. The main character, Barney is transgender.

Dead End: Paranormal Park synopsis
We know that the show will be rated TV-Y7 and that it is described as a horror-comedy series. Netflix also shared the official synopsis, that you can read below.
"Dead End: Paranormal Park follows the adventures of Barney, Norma and magical-talking-dog Pugsley, as they balance their summer jobs at the local theme park haunted house while battling the totally real supernatural forces that dwell within it. Together with their guide to the underworld multiplane, a sardonic thousand-year-old demon named Courtney, they’ll face zombie mascots, demonic game show hosts, sleep-sucking witches and the scariest thing of all: their first crushes!"
