This movie is written and directed by Sofia Alvarez, best known for writing the screenplays for To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and its sequel. Alvarez makes her feature directorial debut with Along for the Ride.

As a romantic movie, fans are bound to be drawn to the central relationship in this movie between Eli (Belmont Cameli) and Auden (Emma Pasarow). Many actors end up dating their co-stars, especially after filming romantic movies together. But is that the case with the Along for the Ride leads?
