Madelyn Cline shares exciting Outer Banks season 3 filming update

Can Outer Banks season 3 get here already? I feel like we’ve waited long enough. But, sadly, the wait isn’t quite over yet because the Outer Banks cast and crew are still hard at work making the highly-anticipated third season.

After finding out that Outer Banks was renewed for a third season in December 2021, fans were waiting for production to start on the new season. In February 2022, the cameras officially started rolling in Barbados. The official Outer Banks Twitter page announced filming was underway with a photo of the cast on set.

Jonathan Bailey, who plays Pope, even tweeted his excitement about filming the third season on Feb. 23. Since production started, the cast has been posting tons of behind-the-scenes videos and photos on their social media accounts. Unfortunately, the cast posts most of the juicy content on their Instagram stories which expires after 24 hours. Nonetheless, they sure know how to get the fans hyped for Outer Banks season 3.

On April 21, one of the show’s leading stars, Madelyn Cline, shared an exciting filming update. Here’s what Cline shared with fans below!

Outer Banks season 3 filming update

Cline posted a collage of photos regarding the new season with a caption reading, “We’re back and so are the foils hi charleston we missed youuu.” The photos include her personalized Outer Banks chair, a picture of her getting her hair dyed, a trailer from set, and a picture of a cartoon.

Based on Cline’s caption, it looks like the cast has wrapped up filming in Barbados and is now back in Charleston, South Carolina, where Outer Banks is mainly shot. I wonder what happens in Barbados. Will all the main characters return to the Outer Banks? This question will surely be answered in Outer Banks season 3!
