Welcome to Eden (or Bienvenido a Edén) is an upcoming Spanish sci-f series arriving on Netflix in May. On Monday, March 28, Netflix released two teaser videos for the show, one is an actual teaser, and the other is a special date announcement video. We’ll share them and everything else we know about the mysterious new series below.

Welcome to Eden will probably become your newest obsession if you like mystery shows and Spanish-language dramas. The brief footage we’ve seen for the show makes it look trippy, mind-bending and visually stunning.

Here is the official Netflix synopsis:

"Are you happy? With this question, Zoa and four young, attractive, and social media active boys and girls are invited to the most exclusive party in history, set on a secret island and organized by a new drink brand. What starts as an exciting adventure will soon turn into the trip of their lives. But paradise is not really what it seems… Welcome to Eden."

The first season of the series will premiere on Friday, May 6. It’s not clear how long the episodes are, but we know it is rated TV-MA for nudity and language.

The date announcement video below teases what to expect from the show, namely the strange island of Eden where, a “stimulating taste of happiness.” You’re guaranteed the trip of your life.

Out of the entire cast, some of the most known stars are Amaia Salamanca of Gran Hotel fame and Belinda, the Spanish-Mexican singer and songwriter.
