My Father’s Dragon cast: Who’s in the Netflix animated movie?

My Father’s Dragon, based on the 1948 novel of the same name, is an animated film coming to Netflix in the near future.

The upcoming title is set to be one that audiences of all ages can enjoy because of its inspiring coming-of-age story that follows the life of a boy named Elmer going through great lengths to rescue a dragon and find the location of the famed land, Wild Island. But it’s also slated to be a great watch because of the many life lessons it will teach, such as the importance of never losing your childlike wonder and how to be brave even though the road ahead of you looks treacherous.

Deadline reports Stranger Things actor Gaten Matarazzo will appear in the film alongside Jacob Tremblay, Golshifteh Farahani, Dianne Wiest, Rita Moreno, Judy Greer, Alan Cumming, Chris O’Dowd, and The Weekend Away actress Leighton Meester.

grown-ish‘s Yara Shahidi is also featured in this movie as are Jackie Earle Haley, Mary Kay Place, Spence Moore II, Adam Brody, Maggie Lincoln, Jack Smith, Charlyne Yi, Ian McShane, and Academy Award-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg.
