If you have never watched The House of Flowers, you’re definitely missing out! It’s a black comedy-drama series that first premiered in August 2018. The show was received well by critics and went on to win several awards. There is also a The House of Flowers Netflix special and movie.

The House of Flowers was created by Manolo Caro and co-written by Caro, Mara Vargas, Monika Revilla, Gabriel Nuncio, Hipatia Argüero Mendoza, Alexandro Aldrete and Kim Torres. However, Manolo wrote most of the scripts.

The story follows the dysfunctional upper-class de la Mora family as they try to run their flower business. But when the patriarch’s (Ernesto) mistress hangs herself, deep dark secrets are unraveled and the family’s facade of perfection is exposed.

There are several unexpected twists and turns throughout the series that will have you at the edge of your seat. Some people might find the show overdramatic, but that’s the purpose. The show isn’t meant to be taken seriously. It’s truly an addictive show, and you’ll find yourself speeding through the entire series very quickly.
