Workin’ Moms renewed for season 7

Workin’ Moms fans have gotten double the good news. Just yesterday we found out that Workin’ Moms season 6 is coming to Netflix next month. And the other piece of good news – the show has been renewed for a season 7!

The Canadian comedy became a hit on Netflix ever since the streaming service added the first season. The show follows PR executive Kate and her long-time psychiatrist friend Anne. They meet two other mothers in a mommies group – IT tech Jenny and real estate agent Frankie. The four form a friendship and we go on this journey of struggles of urban motherhood, balancing kids and careers, and identity crises for the characters. It’s definitely a relatable series!

The show is largely drawn from the lead on the show, Catherine Reitman, who also co-created Workin’ Moms. The sixth season is coming to Netflix on May 10, 2022. So now that the comedy has been renewed on its parent company, CBC, when can we expect to see it on Netflix?

When will Workin’ Moms season 7 be on Netflix?

The great news is that it seems like season 7 is already in the works. According to What’s on Netflix, the seventh season is most likely in the pre-production stages. Based on previous seasons, we have a rough idea of when to expect the newest season.

Workin’ Moms season 5 aired on CBC in February 2021 and concluded April of that year. Then season 6 came back in January 2022 and the finale aired just a few days ago on April 12. That means there’s a very good chance Workin’ Moms season 7 will air on its parent network within the first couple of months of 2023.

Based on previous release dates, the series has been added to Netflix one or two months after its finale dates on CBC. So if season 7 airs in April 2023 like its predecessors, then we should be getting the seventh season on Netflix in May or June 2023.
