Workin’ Moms season 6 coming to Netflix in May 2022

Good news for all you Workin’ Moms fans! Season 6 of the popular comedy is coming to Netflix next month! The show’s fifth season was added to Netflix all the way back in June 2021. Season 6 premiered on its parent network, CBC in Canada, January of this year.

If you haven’t checked it out, this series is a must add to your watch list. The show follows PR executive Kate and her longtime friend no-nonsense psychiatrist Anne. They meet timid IT tech Jenny and blindly optimistic real estate agent Frankie at a mommies group. The four quickly form a friendship, sharing struggles of urban motherhood that mixed in with the chaos of toddlers, tantrums, careers, and identity crises.

The ensemble comedy is largely drawn from the personal experiences of actress and co-creator of Workin’ Moms, Catherine Reitman. So when is season 6 coming to Netflix?

The fun comedy series’ sixth season is coming to Netflix Tuesday, May 10, 2022. Based on previous release patterns, the Canadian show is usually added to the streaming service one or two months after the season finale airs on its parent network.

And that aligns with season 6’s release.The finale, “Grow if You Want,” just aired on CBC on April 12. So this time the streaming service isn’t making us wait very long! We’ll be able to see the 13-episode season very soon!

We left off in season 5 with Kate changing up Anne’s book cover, which annoys Sloane. The two argue and Kate eventually walks out. Jenny’s lies about being pregnant are catching up to her but when she gets an ultrasound, it turns out she’s actually pregnant. The episode ends with the boy who sold chocolate to Kate at the start of the episode comes to the book launch party. He tells Kate he thinks Nathan is his father. Talk about a cliffhanger!

And good news for you diehard fans! If you’re eager for more then you’ll be happy to know that it’s very likely season 7 of the show is currently in pre-production, according to What’s on Netflix.
